The Entrepreneurial Grant Writing Workshop Series: Taking Your Idea Over the Finish Line

The entrepreneurial landscape is filled with brilliant ideas waiting to be brought to life. However, the journey from ideation to implementation often requires more than just inspiration; it necessitates strategic planning, effective communication, and financial support. The Entrepreneurial Workshop Series: Taking Your Idea Over the Finish Line aims to empower aspiring entrepreneurs with the knowledge, skills, and support needed to turn their ideas into reality. Through a combination of interactive workshops, specialized coaching, and ongoing support, this program will equip participants with the tools and confidence to successfully launch their ventures and contribute to the growth of the entrepreneurial ecosystem. The Connection’s Institute for Innovative Practice is committed to making a meaningful impact on the lives of participants and the communities they serve. For the past four years we have conducted an annual four-part grant writing series sponsored by the Middlesex County Chamber of Commerce. Each year participants have requested more individualized guidance in bringing their ideas to fruition, and this proposal is in response to that need.

This program is offered at no cost with the support of Middlesex United Way and Liberty Bank. Students registering at no cost must reside in Middlesex County communities, which include Chester, Clinton, Cromwell, Deep River, Durham, East Haddam, East Hampton, Essex, Haddam, Killingworth, Middlefield, Middletown, Portland, Old Saybrook, and Westbrook.
