Project Manager – High-End Design/Build Construction
Job Description:
Torrison Stone & Garden is looking for a professional and devoted hardscape Project Manager for our growing landscape construction company. Using our estimating software your role will be responsible for bidding and estimating residential hardscape projects ranging in size from patios, walkways, firepits/fireplaces, stone veneer, retaining walls, pool patios, pool coping etc. Once a job is signed you will be responsible for helping with crew oversight, and scheduling along with our Office Management team. As needed, you will work in conjunction with our in-house design team to ensure all client expectations are met and ensure a long-term relationship with the customer.
Responsibilities:
- Go out on sales appointments, estimate and prepare proposals in a timely fashion
- Generate revenue in sales and create efficiencies with jobs sold and work environment to create profits for company growth
- Work closely with upper management and other Project Managers daily to work through projects
- Manage jobs from initial appointment to day of crew oversight
- Work closely with builders, developers, vendors and customers
- Lead, schedule, hold others accountable to deadlines and expectations daily
- Supervise crews assigned to your jobs
- Job compliance including safety policies and safety equipment
- Develop and maintain long-term relationships with customers
- Lead and facilitate or assist in the resolution of customer problems or concerns.
- Proactively present site enhancement ideas to existing customers
- Develop accurate estimates and takeoffs for both new and existing clients as needed
Requirements:
- 2 - 4 years experience in the hardscape industry
- Knowledge of hardscape materials
- Ability to learn how to use our estimating software
- Strong organizational skills
- Excellent time management skills and the ability to prioritize work
- Attention to detail and problem solving skills
Compensation:
This is a salaried full-time year-round position. Vacation time and 401K plan are available. This position also includes a company issued laptop, cell phone, and vehicle reimbursement or company vehicle.
