Employment Coordinator

We are seeking an Employment Coordinator to join the Vista team.

Responsibilities for an Employment Coordinator include:

  • Work directly with young adult students to provide employment assessment, job coaching and job coping strategies.
  • Implement program curriculum across functional skills areas to assist students/members with gaining independence in life skills, community integration and social/cognitive areas.
  • Evaluate, problem solve and teach for situations that arise at work or assessment sites.
Requirements for an Employment Coordinator include:
  • High School diploma with 2 years related experience. Associates Degree preferred.
  • Model various job tasks include lifting tasks including lifting, sitting, standing and walking for sustained periods of time in a variety of environments, both interior and exterior.
  •  Valid driver’s license and maintain acceptable driving record as defined by Vista.
Location:  This position is based at our newly renovated Westbrook, CT campus.

Job Type/Shift Information: Full-Time, Monday-Friday 8am-4pm

Salary:  $50,000

This is a Benefits and PTO (Paid Time-Off) eligible position.
