DESCRIPTION:Solution-Focused approaches\, which build on clients\, families\, agencies\, or community's strengths\, are proving more powerful and hopeful in encouraging change than traditional problem-focused methods of assessment and treatment. This course will provide a basic introduction to the theoretical foundations and treatment methods of a solution-focused approach and encourage participants to adapt and apply the model in their thinking and their work with challenging clients\, colleagues\, and agencies. Continuing Education: This training has been approved for 5.5 Continuing Education Credit Hours by the National Association of Social Workers\, CT (NASW) and Connection Certification Board (CCB).
